JJJJound and Reebok have readied a tan-toned take on the classic Club C. Following closely in the footsteps of a muted Classic Nylon and appearing nearly a year and a half after the two’s first Club C collaboration, the simple-yet-effective shoe that was first teased in April is rife with JJJJound’s signature attention to detail and minimalistic design principles.
Crisp white leather covers the vast majority of the upper, and is accented by a single strip of bone-colored textile that wraps around the heel before landing directly behind the lateral and medial quarter overlays. These quarter overlays hold the shoe’s signature detail: a cut-out window with a JJJJound spellout graphic in place of standard Reebok hits. Moving up to the collar, a shaggy light tan terry cloth material adds both form and function by providing contrast and increasing comfort.
The inner half of heels and tongues alike are also lined with this material, and the latter’s outer half is built of nylon for a heritage look. Down below, plain white midsoles and wheat-hued outsoles complete the look.
